I’m an associate editor of Jacobin magazine and the cohost, with RL Stephens, of the podcast Stockton to Malone. I wrote a book called Strike for America: Chicago Teachers Against Austerity, published by Verso Books in 2014, and have written for the Nation, the Chicago ReaderDissent, VICE News, New Labor Forum, the Guardian, the American Prospect, Crain’s Chicago Business, Labor Notes, and elsewhere.

I’m also a contributing editor at In These Times, where I previously worked as an editor. Before I started working for magazines, I worked as a labor organizer. I live in Chicago. You can follow me on Twitter at @micahuetricht.
