Teaching Assistants’ Association Co-Pres. Alex Hanna Talks About Next Steps for Wisconsin Movement

The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Teaching Assistants’ Assocation, the school’s graduate students’ union, has played a critical role in the Madison, Wisconsin, protests (as I’ve argued at Campus Progress). At the March 12, 2011, protests–the largest yet against the bill, with over 100,000 workers and supporters packing the streets around the capitol–Alex Hanna, co-president of the TAA, talked about the organization’s plans for organizing against Gov. Scott Walker’s bill in the near future.
